Fern Tree, Mt Buangor State Park is a terraced hillside camp ground ground dotted with old growth gums at the top of the looped Ferntree Gully Road. The site provides and small hut with fire place, drop toilet, picnic tables and fire pits. Beautiful forest site close to Middle Creek and Bailes camp areas. Suitable for tent based camping the site may only be accessible by 4WD especially after wet weather. A spot for the hikers and mt bikers. The site is FREE.

Getting there: About 35km east of Ararat take Ferntree Gully Road off the Western Hwy. The site is well signed off this road.
