Easy to get to the area makes for a great base camp for trial bike riders, 4WD enthusiests hikers and wild life watches. Great if the nearby middle creek camp ground is busy. The site is FREE.

Getting there: About 35km east of Ararat take Ferntree Gully Road off the Western Hwy. The site is well signed off this road.
