Running Creek Flat, North of Jamieson, is a beautiful camp on the Howqua River. Shaded by large gums this site is great for large tent based groups. Apart from some picnic tables and the several drop toilets there isn't much here so you'll need to come prepared for bush camping. There is an abundance of wild life in the area from Kangaroos to the friendly colouful parrots. A great spot for that weekend retreat with plenty on offer for the out door enthusiast The site is FREE, Pet Friendly and 4WD is recommended especially after wet weather.
