There's also a lookout nearby which provides great views of Lake Awoonga and Castletower National Park.
No booking is required and sites are on a "first-come, first-served" basis. The Lake is a wildlife sanctuary, and visitors are discouraged from bringing pets. Small dogs may be allowed but must be kept strictly under control at all times.
