Mt Freeze Out, Alpine NP, West of Hotham Heights, as the name suggests is a cold basic campground exposed to the elements on the roof of the world. This site is set up for tent and small 4WD trailer based campers exploring the Victorian high country via the world famous Dargo High Plains Track. If you love off road driving you'll love this track and the views are some of the most amazing in Australia. Campers will need to be self sufficient and come prepared for rain, hail, shine or the four horse men of the Apocalypse. The site is FREE but not pet friendly. Do not camp during extreme weather conditions.

Getting there: Site is poorly signed of the Dargo High Plains Road west of Hotham Heights. Site is on the easterly side of the track about 5km from the Great Alpine Road.
