Andrew Drynan Park, Running Creek is a spacious grassed camp ground perfect for both camping and caravans/trailers. The creek provides plenty of large water holes for swimming and fresh water fishing. The site is shaded around the edges of the park and by the creek, but shaded spots are few and far between in the middle. Sitting between the protected rain forest of Mount Chinghee and the Border Rangers, the camp ground enjoys scenic views from all angles. Plenty of space for all, including the dog.

Cost: $10 adults per night ($5 children, under 5 free.)  Pay on site. (Additional fee's apply during peak periods.)


Getting there: If you are traveling from the Qld side of the border from Rathdowney take running creek road about 17km out to the park which will be on the left. If you're traveling from the NSW side of the border, from Kyogle, take the summerland Way North. About 10km from Kyogle take Gradys Creek Rd. This eventually turns into Lions Rd and then Running Creek Road once you cross the border into Queensland. The park is on your right hand side about 3km from the border.

Flanagan Reserve is 12 hectares of bush camping located on the upper reaches of the Logan River. A great spot for swimming and fishing for the whole family.
