The Diggings, Turon River National Park, open grass area along the banks of the Turon River. The site is littered with old mining pits from a by gone era which is an interesting feature. Four wheel driving is a draw card for this national park with plenty of river crossings and tracks. This camp ground is the perfect spot to set up a base camp. The sites lack of facilities means you'll need to bring everything.
The area is rich with bird and wild life, and the rolling hills and river make for a beautiful back drop.
