First Crossing, Sofala, is large slopping grassed area set above the Turon River. This free, pet friendly camp ground has little in the way of facilities so you'll need to come prepared.
Throw in a line or lounge around in the shallow river before settling down with nice cuppa by the campfire.

Getting there: From the Village of Sofala, take Upper Turon Rd about 5km out to the site that will be on your left before the river crossing.
