Violet Hill, Myall Lake National Park is a good spot to put the boat in as it is located right in the middle of lakes country. Open grassed sites are available with some shaded areas. It is also a good place to park up the trailer if you are going to explore some of the the national parks boat based camping areas like, River Mouth, Joes cove, Fresh water, Two Mile Sands, Mackaway Bay, Sunny Side or Johnsons Beach.

The camp ground has a boat ramp, a wharf and temporary boat moorings, so it really the ideal spot for water sports, fishing or exploring.

Cost: Peak season: NSW school holidays, December, January and public holiday long weekends. $11.50 per adult per night. $6 per child per night.
Off-peak season: All other times. $8 per adult per night. $4 per child per night. Bookings cannot be made for this campground. $8 per vehicle per day.

Getting there: From the Pacific Hwy just north of Bulahdelah, take The Lakes Way for 7km, turn right onto the sign posted Violet Hill Road (unsealed). Follow for 10km until you reach the camping area.
