Paradise Dam Recreational Park on the Burnette River is only a 30 minute drive north west from Biggenden and 80km south west of Bundaberg. The site gets its name from the old goldmining town of Paradise which no lies submerged in the dam. The facilities at Paradise Dam include non powered camping sites, environmentally friendly toilets (no showers), covered gas barbecues, concrete boat ramp, fish cleaning stations, information centre and kiosk. Choose from foreshore sites to higher locations with views of the Dam. Pets are allowed under conditions.

The site provides the oppertunity for water sports include boating, skiing, tubing, sailing and swimming. A fishing permit is not required as the dam is not a stocked impondment. However it is always wise to check that this has not changed prior to fishing. There are no boating restrictions except near the dam wall.
