Sheepyard Flat, Howqua Hills Historic Area, is a large grassed area with plenty of shade on the Howqua River. Great space for large groups with plenty of opportunities to swim, fish, ride, 4WD or just relax. Relatively easy to get to but may become difficult for conventional vehicles during wet weather. Site is FREE and Pet Friendly.

Getting There: From the Mt Buller Tourist Rd take Grammer School Rd at Merijig (Halfway between Mansfield and Mt Buller). This gravel road becomes Howqua Track and will take you out to the signed camp area which is just before the bridge. Note: Access may be difficult by conventional vehicle during wet weather.
