Murphy's Glen, Blue Mountains National Park, is a large camp area set amongst ferns and tall gums at the bottom of a valley. It feels like you are miles away but you really aren't that far from the Great Western Hwy. This makes it easy to get too, however, the last part of the drive in is rather steep and bumpy, so you'd be brave to tackle this is a standard car.

The camp ground is the perfect base for hiking and Mt biking in the national park. Lack of facilities means you'll need to bring just about everything.

Cost: FREE | No booking is required.

Getting there: From Woodford on the Great Western Hwy, take Railway Pde, then off Railway take Bedford Rd. This turns into Murphy's Fire Trail which will take you out to the campsite. Note: 4x4 access, especially after a major rain event.
