Boynedale Bush Camp, Lake Awoonga is a large basic bush camp with shaded areas and basic facilities such as toilet facilities, shelters and fire-circles.

The lake provides good sailing, fishing and boating. Depending on changing water levels, the launching of small watercraft may be possible close to the campground. Barramundi and redclaw are popular. There's also a lookout nearby which provides great views of Lake Awoonga and Castletower National Park.

No booking is required and sites are on a "first-come, first-served" basis. The Lake is a wildlife sanctuary, and visitors are discouraged from bringing pets. Small dogs may be allowed but must be kept strictly under control at all times.
