Perrys Lookdown - Blue Mountains National Park, is a good base camp for hikers to explore the many walking tracks in the national park. Views from the nearby lookouts are spectacular, taking in ancient valleys filled with Blue Gum forest surrounded by massive sandstone cliffs. If you take the Blue Gum walking track, you can camp in the valley below at Acacia Flat campground (Walk in only) and make the return trip the next day. Both camp grounds have limited facilities so you'll need to come prepared with water and gas cookers.
This site is a blue mountains post card. Love hiking, this one is for you!
